It truly felt as if we were flying. I had been struggling to come up with an original mini session and Owen just gave me a brilliant idea! So the very next day, I set off for the craft store and hand-made some custom"clouds".
We are now pleased to offer "Adrift in the Clouds", a mini session at an exclusive location at Casa de Fruta. The session includes:

We've had an amazing year! We had 30 amazing couples tie the knot this season, we won the Knots' Best of Weddings award, celebrated our own 1st wedding anniversary, and Alec won his first solo award. We owe the Best of Weddings honor to our awesome couples and the wonderful reviews we've received from them! So a BIG thank you to our wonderful couples. We've compiled some of our favorite highlights from the year, and hope you enjoy!

My husband, Alec, lived in Ben Lomond before we met so when we heard Bevin & Jody were planning their ceremony at Ben Lomond's River House, we were excited to have a reason to go there. For anyone that hasn't been, it's a cute little town in the Santa Cruz mountains framed in Redwood trees. We had already done Bevin & Jody's engagement shots, so we already knew they were really fun to work with. Sure enough, upon our arrival there was an aire of relaxation to everything. The guys arrived on site early, Bevin couldn't have been more calm, everything was on schedule...what was this madness? I am fairly used to the organized chaos that is a wedding schedule so this was a complete departure from the norm. The day completely focused on Bevin & Jody coming together as husband and wife and anyone present that day could see that they were a perfect fit. When Bevin walked down the aisle, stood in front of Jody and simply mouthed "Hi Baby", I nearly lost it behind the camera. How sweet are they! The stress-free, laid-back approach this couple embodied completely freed me to get some fun and creative shots that I am excited to share, so here are the highlights from the day.
